Dear Internet,

I have started a youtube channel.    ....your welcome.

Check it out.

Some of you that pay closer attention to me might realize I have an art account .  from which I'm springing a youtube channel called Art Hat.  Art Hat: in which I pull whatever I feel like out of a hat and you get subjected to me babbling about it for 10-20 minutes.  Digital painting, photomanipulation, your mom...(I mean you have to admit, she's pretty hot).  

Thus far, I have two vids detailing random tidbits about the two pieces below.  BUT, I'd like your help in coming up with ideas for a future sidebar in which I hunker down and study some facet of art for a few weeks and post a compilation of things learned.  It's a way to get my own self to study [deadlines, aren't they a helpful b*tch] but also I want it to be useful to other actual people.  We don't exist in a vacuum, and I'd rather not talk to myself.   So let me know what kinds of art related things you'd find interesting or helpful.

This page details the procedure for earning points through dAhub.  Points may be earned by watching, faving and/or giving llama badges to the users listed in the respective sections in the dAhub Donation Widget.  Additional points may be earned by posting a journal or modifying your signature as detailed in the Referral Network Guidelines

Description
Users who have donated points to dAhub are featured in the Donation Widget.  Watch, fav and send llama badges to some of the users listed in the respective "Watch", "Fav" and "Llama" sections.  Leave one comment on my (dAhub) profile page and I will send you points.
You do not need to specify which users you have watch/fav/llama'd, these will be programmatically discovered.  You will receive the same number of points for commenting "done" as if you listed every user you wat  pretty darn awesome since I waste an inordinate amount of time on DA anyway

Think I'm going to work my way to magnets of a few of my abstract works. That'd be pretty awesome.

My stock/(adhd and random things) account
I'm actually more active on the albrecht account, but in order to earn points it says you must do it from your home account...which I guess would be this one. It is the older of the two. But just so you know, my stock is effing awesome (I pride myself on that s$t) and you should check out albrecht995 sometime....just saying.

Since this was after all suppose to be a photography account...what with a name like sprenklephotography and all. At the very least if I can keep this art flame going that's been the last week, I can at least reclaim it as an art account.

So I've begun moving textures over to a new account we'll call project albrecht which is perhaps the worst naming of a texture account ever, considering Albrecht Durer was basically the antithesis to abstract.  But you know when you try to think of a good name for a week and nothing comes to you, you just kind of grab what's cool.  Anyway albrecht995 --  I'm going to leave the textures I have already posted here in place because some people have favorited them and sometimes you use favorites as a bookmark you come back to like 3 months later when you actually make the photomanip you said you were going to.

Update:  Just so anyone knows, I'm way more active on the albrecht account.  So if you were trying to get ahold of me.

A friend of mine is doing her 2nd student project this semester.  It's a psychological piece that takes a lot of inspiration from old classic Mexican horror movies.  

They have an indiegogo campaign going.  If you don't have a dollar to spare, please help by sharing the word to any film lovers you might know.

"It is the story of Lucia, a young Latina woman, who finds herself trapped in an abusive relationship. In a last attempt to salvage the relationship, her boyfriend takes her for a romantic camping trip staying in newly acquired RV. However, it soon becomes clear he hasn't changed. Uncertain what to do, or how to get away when things turn ugly, Lucia is greeted by her otherself who comes furiously out of the dark woods surrounding them and begins banging on the door of the RV.

The story was written to dig into the toxicity of abusive relationships and what they can do to a person's frame of mind. How the stress can drive them to great dark spaces internally and what it would be like for that to manifest itself supernaturally."

It's small, but growing.
