Lucia - a mexican style horror film

A friend of mine is doing her 2nd student project this semester.  It's a psychological piece that takes a lot of inspiration from old classic Mexican horror movies.  

They have an indiegogo campaign going.  If you don't have a dollar to spare, please help by sharing the word to any film lovers you might know.

"It is the story of Lucia, a young Latina woman, who finds herself trapped in an abusive relationship. In a last attempt to salvage the relationship, her boyfriend takes her for a romantic camping trip staying in newly acquired RV. However, it soon becomes clear he hasn't changed. Uncertain what to do, or how to get away when things turn ugly, Lucia is greeted by her otherself who comes furiously out of the dark woods surrounding them and begins banging on the door of the RV.

The story was written to dig into the toxicity of abusive relationships and what they can do to a person's frame of mind. How the stress can drive them to great dark spaces internally and what it would be like for that to manifest itself supernaturally."
